Medix Biochemica is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Rapcan as Vice President, Quality Controls, effective August 31, 2026.
Chris joins Medix Biochemica from Thermo Fisher Scientific, bringing extensive international experience in the diagnostics industry. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions in global portfolio strategy, business development, and product lifecycle management. Most recently, he was responsible for shaping business strategy and driving growth across a broad clinical diagnostics portfolio spanning immunoassays, clinical chemistry, molecular diagnostics, and quality controls.
With a strong combination of commercial, strategic, and operational expertise, Chris will play a key role in advancing Medix Biochemica's Quality Controls business and supporting the company's growth ambitions. He will also join the Medix Biochemica Leadership Team and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
