Arielle Bryan, PhD

Dr. Arielle Bryan is the Scientific Business Specialist for Molecular Diagnostics at Medix Biochemica, based out of Long Island, NY. Her current role centers on scientific collaboration, industry trend analysis, and identifying new technologies to support the Medix MDx division in North America. She acts as the technical point of contact for molecular diagnostics, using her education and hands-on experience to support both scientific and commercial initiatives. Arielle earned a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology from Stony Brook University School of Medicine, for her research on medically relevant fungal pathogens. Since then, she’s held key roles in the biosciences industry; leading teams in the laboratory, managing external collaborations, and obtaining funding for collaborative development projects through grant applications and business proposals. Her ability to lead and communicate effectively—both in the lab and in client-facing roles—has been key to her work at Medix Biochemica, backed by experience in pharmaceuticals, forensics, and molecular diagnostics. She’s focused on turning collaborative research into impactful diagnostic technologies that address some of the most challenging issues in biology. At her core, Arielle is driven by a commitment to bridge the gap between laboratory discovery and real-world application by promoting dialogue and enabling innovation in the molecular diagnostics field.
